ABOUT

About David Cruz Anaya | Senior Mobile Engineer

London-based independent senior mobile engineer, author, and Udemy instructor, building mobile software and writing about doing the work before you feel ready.

David Cruz Anaya

Hi, I'm David Cruz Anaya, a UK-based independent senior mobile engineer. I help companies modernise Android apps, adopt Kotlin Multiplatform, and add native Rust where it earns its place, and I still write the hard parts myself. Twelve years shipping apps used by millions sits behind that.

I also mentor Android and Kotlin developers one to one. As a Udemy instructor with over 20,000 students, I teach Android development, create tutorials on YouTube, and contribute to open source.
